Opinion
For a LEGO set in this price range, the
Surfer Beach House offers surprisingly much building fun. This is thanks to the 3-in-1 concept, which makes sets from this series some of the best that LEGO still has to offer for kids. In addition to the Beach House, we have a lighthouse with a boat and a pool house. All three designs are fun to build and look nice, and the minifigures fit with all of them. I especially liked the pool house.
This set does not come with stickers and there are a few printed elements. I also like the brick-built animals. Equally great is the fact that
Surfer Beach House is not just a decorative object, but a real, enclosed building that is still highly playable as it can be opened. This is rare in other LEGO kids series like City or Harry Potter.
Of course, the
Surfer Beach House is not a brilliant revelation, but it is a solid design with a decent price-performance ratio and offers lots of LEGO building fun for the money.
