LEGO - Star Wars™ Endor Speeder Chase Diorama | Set 75353

LEGO’s Endor Speeder Chase Diorama could have been really great! The colors are a dream, the speeder bikes are the best LEGO has ever made, and the new fern piece from Rivendell is included plentiful. The scene also feels impressively dynamic for a LEGO set.

However, the Diorama also feels unfinished in a way. The flora isn’t lush enough, particularly the trees which are too plain, and the ground lacks something in medium size, such as bushes or toppled trees.

The building experience is also quite boring. Except for the speeder bikes, the set feels more like 80s LEGO.

The minifigures could have been really good if LEGO had included fabric ponchos again and dual-molded legs for Leia and Luke.

All of this is not good, and then there’s the price to consider. The Emperor's Throne Room Diorama is already too expensive, especially compared to the Dagobah Jedi Training Diorama. This one is even worse.

Overall, this is a set that isn’t really bad, but falls short of its potential.
