Ok, the
Hulkbuster from LEGO is big, it’s a mech and the design is decent enough. But then I already run out of positive arguments.
The included minifigure is almost lazy in its design, and the mechanism to put the
Iron Man Figure into the set doesn’t really work. The head is much too small because a piece, meant for a much smaller playset, was reused. Using a tiny light Brick for the reactor is a bit ridiculous, as well.
What I can live with, the on the other hand, is that the legs don’t move. The
Hulkbuster is pretty big, and two legs are simply different from four like the
UCS AT-AT.
The much too narrow ankles are like the sticker sheet are hardly worth getting worked up over.
Because the real low point of this set is the price. I have no idea how LEGO could think that the
Hulkbuster could go so significantly above four hundred euros and still be bought. For comparison:
Rivendell has 2,000 pieces, 76 prints, and 14 minifigures more for 50 euros less. What were they thinking?
