LEGO - Harry Potter™ Quidditch Trunk | Set 76416

The Quidditch Trunk from LEGO unfortunately did not work. This set is supposed to provide three different ways to play Quidditch with the minifigures. In theory, it’s a good idea, but in practice, the gameplay options are very limited. The playing field is simply too small, and Brick builds are not really suitable for skill games, especially against each other.

The suitcase for transporting the set is nice in theory. However, since the gameplay function is so limited, it’s simply not worth taking the suitcase with you. Folding it together is also a bit tricky. At least it looks fancy, but that’s mainly due to the stickers.

LEGO has also added 10 additional heads and hairpieces so that each kid can build their dream player. But it’s questionable whether the choice will often be something other than Harry Potter.

A larger playing field without a suitcase, the extra heads, and fewer stickers would have appealed to me much more. However, the set could be a good start to build a Quidditch MOC (My Own Creation) with its figures and pieces.
