Opinion
The Golden Goblet Inn from BlueBrixx gets mistreated if only seen as the little sister of Blaustein, the old water mill or the old church. It is much more than that!
It is not the largest set of the series and does not have the most ingenious building techniques, but in my opinion it has the most elegant design and form-language of all of Martin’s designs.
This starts with the successful combination of colors and structures of the basement, goes through the beautiful gallery on the upper floor and ends with a simple but still elegant roof construction and coloring.
Added to this is a good portion of cheerfulness, which follows the nature of an inn and is underlined again by an outdoor catering area, which the community lovingly calls a beer garden. Hardly any BlueBrixx Medieval Set invites as much to be populated with minifigures as the The Golden Goblet Inn.
