Opinion
As a huge fan of BlueBrixx’s STAR TREK mid-size models, I had to check out the Klingon Bird-of-Prey.
Actually, this one works better than its big brother. The proportions are similarly well done, but the wings have much less weight to deal with and are much easier to adjust as a result. The set is sturdy enough even for kids and is ready for the wildest flight maneuvers.
The quality of the pieces is decent, although some of the pieces have a little less clutch power. However, the Flat Silver | Silver Metallic pieces are really fun and give the set that special something.
The instructions are good, although there are no digital instructions available for BlueBrixx Pro sets. Unfortunately, the Klingon Bird-of-Prey is one of the weakest sets in the series in terms of price. For example, the Romulan D´deridex Warbird and the USS Voyager NCC-74656 offer more material and many more prints for the money.
