Opinion

The Medieval Bakery from BlueBrixx designed by Martin is small, but detailed and charming enough in its appearance to satisfy any medieval brick-fan.

I liked the oven and the detailed interior design. You couldn’t have fit much more into such a small set. The smooth, tiled roof is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea. But it is a change from the other BlueBrixx medieval buildings.

The timber construction is designed quite simple but works well. No compromises in stability exist and overly complex building techniques are not required either. That is anyway the strength of the set: All the typical BlueBrixx medieval strengths in design are present, but without the typical small hiccups in the building process. It is simply put a well-rounded set.

The only weakness is the jammed attic, which you can hardly get out to see inside the ground floor.

As it is typical for a BlueBrixx Special the pieces are functional, but they won’t win a price for beauty.
