Opinion
The St Mark's Square by BlueBrixx really impressed me. With almost 3500 pieces, it’s bigger than anything LEGO has ever released in their Architecture series.
The diorama is well designed, from St Mark’s Basilica to the Doge’s Palace, everything is there that belongs to the place that stood as the center of power of the Venetian Republic for almost a 1000 years.
The details of the set are astonishing, the overall look is classy, and the building techniques are refreshingly challenging. The piece quality, unfortunately, is only average.
This brings me to the biggest weakness of the set: for what you find in the box, I would have priced it 30 Euros less than BlueBrixx.
