The only set from BlueBrixx that I wouldn’t buy again to this day is The Dark Eye, Thorwaler dragon ship, Otta. This is for three reasons. Firstly, the quality of the pieces was really bad. In addition to problems with clutch power and scratches that were too deep, the technical pieces on the mast caused a lot of trouble.
Secondly, the design is unstable, with the bow and stern often falling off or simply crumbling. However, what bothered me the most personally was the scale. The ship doesn’t have a minifigure scale. This isn’t inherently problematic, but the set isn’t so far away from it, that it wouldn’t have been possible with a few more pieces. A huge disappointment given the missed opportunity! I’m sure I’m not the only one who had been eagerly awaiting something like this. Luckily, LEGO later released the Viking Ship and the Midgard Serpent.
There is also good news, though: She a pretty little ship with nice shapes and a cool fabric sail.
Unfortunately, she is also too expensive for the quality offered, which may have been due to the sail, stickers, or even the license.
