BlueBrixx - Astronomers Planetarium | Set 107284

Building the Astronomers Planetarium from BlueBrixx was a lot of fun. More than 7000 pieces had to be processed without ever feeling that quantity had to replace quality. The entire construction impresses with exciting building techniques and countless small design elements. From a grotto with a pile of gold, to an office, numerous corridors and balustrades, all the way to the planetarium itself. The entire building is very modular, so that all details can be explored over and over again even after completion.

However, the building fun was somewhat clouded at times. The building steps are very chaotic in their size, the instruction manual constantly requires a rotation of the set, often unnecessary and quite cumbersome with such a colossus. Chains and hinges also have to be assembled in large quantities, which leads to sore fingers.

All these little things, however, are more than compensated for by the great design. Together with a fantastically low price, we have a real highlight here. However, it doesn’t quite match up to the Astronomer lighthouse, which was able to score with even more details.
