CaDA - ARCTIC CAT Wildcat XX | Set C62006W

Describing the CaDA ARCTIC CAT Wildcat XX as just a fun vehicle may not be entirely fair, but I had a lot of fun building it and couldn’t stop grinning while driving it around.

This set is delightfully unreasonable and childish, especially due to its over-motorization. The motor is a real powerhouse and, combined with the very lightweight vehicle, creates the fastest model I’ve ever built by far. I’ve never had wheels spinning on a model before.

Of course, all of this is quite nonsensical, as the ARCTIC CAT Wildcat XX is actually too fast for indoor driving, also for its own safety. It’s also questionable whether one would want to expose technical pieces and electronics to real off-roading.

All of this makes the ARCTIC CAT Wildcat XX refreshingly unreasonable. Nonetheless, CaDA has produced a good set. The Wildcat is easy to build, the construction is quite solid, the suspension is great, and it has a working differential. I also really like the way it looks, although the battery box could have been better hidden. The price-performance ratio and CaDA’s overall package are, as usual, very good as well.
