CaDA’s Formula Race Car is available with and without motorization. The two engines take quite a while to get the 60 cm car moving, but the top speed is impressive, and the steering still works well.

However, I did not enjoy installing the motors. The instructions treat them as a retrofitted option, including removing pieces again that were just installed a few steps earlier.

But I really like the model itself. Whether with the mountain of advertising stickers or without, the technical design is impressive, the suspension works, the wheels are a real highlight, and the colors are fun. The size is impressive considering the number of pieces.

Building the model was a lot of fun, except for the retrofitted motors. The quality of the pieces was also flawless, the instructions were pleasantly challenging, and are available in both paper and digital formats.

The high-resolution appearance is restored, the shape is exquisite, the details are realistic, and the playability is greatly improved.

The push-rod independent suspension simulated by the front and rear wheels, the linkage between the engine and the rear wheels, the linkage between the steering wheel and the front wheel, the rear hood with a spring-assisted structure, etc., the rich technology kits greatly increase the model car playability and expandability of the set.

It is not only a building block toy that can help develop children's hands-on ability and imagination, but also a car model worthy of collection.
