Opinion
The design and building experience of the
CLAAS™ XERION 5000 TRAC TS are first-class. Designer Bricksley has done a really good job here. The combination of technic for functionality and chassis, as well as system bricks for the body, is not new, but it has rarely been implemented so skillfully. Although the proportions are not quite right at this size, it is immediately clear what we have here. The set is slightly larger than the minifigure scale.
This is truly a display model, but it also likes to be taken out for short play sessions. Unfortunately, CaDA once again did not include any printed parts, but instead a lot of stickers. That is very disappointing, at least the Claas logos could have been printed.
The building process is a lot of fun, the instructions are very clear and leave no questions unanswered. However, the instructions are not yet available digitally. The packaging is of very high quality, no other manufacturer can compete with CaDA here.
The price of around 80 euros in the EU is really good. The set is of high quality, the design is successful, and the building process is a lot of fun. If only it wasn’t for the stickers.

The appearance has been largely accurately reproduced. External details included: triangular track system, front of tractor, fenders, cab, lights, etc. Cab interior details: steering wheel, seat, pedals, side mirrors, etc. Fully manual control. The knobs enable the following controls: track steering, raising and lowering the front linkage (with a removable counterweight), raising and lowering the rear linkage. The appearance (including the triangular track system) and moving functions reflect the real tractor. Plowing tool included, can be folded/unfolded manually.
