Opinion
The Japanese Steamed Bun Shop by CaDA, developed by Exe Sandbox, was one of the first sets in a series of houses that fit into the 16x16 stud format. Essentially, they are small modular buildings that are still in scale with minifigures.
The design is really well done and conveys the urban, Japanese flair, including the typical above-ground wiring. The color scheme is just as interesting as the modern architectural elements. Thanks to the opening wall, the building is easily accessible and the included lighting creates a pleasant atmosphere.
It is truly enjoyable as the interior is attractively designed and showcases Japanese creativity in efficient use of space.
The bricks are typical of CaDA, of high quality, and the instructions leave no questions unanswered. It is now also available digitally.
Unfortunately, this set is once again heavily reliant on stickers. The absence of printed elements prevents it from receiving the highest rating.
