Opinion

Less is sometimes more, and the Japanese Summer Coffee House from CaDA is a brilliant example of that, delivered by designer Exe Sandbox. These small Asian buildings from CaDA have many features that make them like a modular, just in a smaller size. On not much more than 16 x 16 studs, they offer fine interior design, a beautiful exterior design, and some fun window and door functions.

CaDA also provides lighting that is solidly integrated into the design and is well documented in the instructions. The packaging is typically high-quality for CaDA, and the instructions are well-made and available in both printed and digital form.

The system bricks from CaDA are of high quality, although we have to live with some micro scratches. Not so good are the small windows with noticeable milky spots. However, the main criticism is the many stickers, here CaDA could use more printed bricks. But some significantly more expensive brands also don’t do better.
