Funwhole has once again delivered a really good set with the Newsstand. It includes lovely details, numerous prints, a funny minifigure, and cohesive lighting. The neat presentation, the very good instructions, and the lighting together make for a really good overall package.
I particularly like the primary color Dark Green | Earth Green and the build feels playful and authentic. The prints also invite exploration, and possible stories come to mind when looking at the pictures.
The GoBricks parts are, as always, flawless in terms of clutch power and feel. They also show significantly fewer color variations than we have recently seen with LEGO in darker colors.
However, the parts always have slightly more micro-scratches, which are particularly noticeable with Dark Green | Earth Green. Funwhole also includes some of their own special parts that simplify cable management. These work well but struggle even more with the scratches.
