Opinion
The
Medieval Apothecary Shop by Funwhole looks coherent and comes with two funny minifigures. As usual for this manufacturer, it also features beautiful lighting. I really like the color scheme, especially how Dark Green | Earth Green is arranged with the timber framing. The small garden brings life to the diorama.
However, I didn’t like how some of the functions were put together without much care. Elements that are visible from the outside, such as the chimney and the dormer, are either missing on the inside or located elsewhere. For example, the fireplace is hanging on the dormer from the inside or the stove’s exhaust is attached to a bare wall.
The set also lacks some details again, making it too plain to really impress.
Nevertheless, the neat presentation, the excellent instructions, and the coherent lighting once again result in a solid overall package.
