LEGO - Icons Alpine Lodge | Set 10325

For me, the Alpine Lodge is the best building from the Winter Village Collection by LEGO so far. Of course, the series’ major weakness of only having facades and not real houses is not overcome by this set. Nevertheless, it appears deeper and more rounded than most of its siblings.

But above all, it impresses with its harmonious exterior appearance, to which the construction technique of the wooden logs contributes. I also liked the trees and the fantastic Satin Trans-Clear Panel 1 x 6 x 5 for the ice surface, which we are seeing for only the second time. The toilet is actually quite nice too, but the door doesn’t match the design, it should have been brick-built.

The minifigures are funny as usual, the pieces are excellent, and the instructions are refreshingly adult. Price-wise, the set is very good compared to other LEGO sets.

Overall, the Alpine Lodge is a good set that just needs to become a real building to be truly brilliant.
