LEGO - Ideas Viking Village | Set 21343

The Viking Village is certainly one of the strongest sets of the year. LEGO has almost done everything right here. The design is a delightful blend of nostalgia for the Viking sets of the mid 2000s, modern brick design, and an attempt to depict the historical Vikings. It is enjoyable to build and to look at. Furthermore, there are four fantastic minifigures, no stickers, and instead, plenty of prints that are among the best-designed ones I have ever seen.

The buildings may be small, but they are full of clever details, and the roofs are among the best that LEGO has ever made. The Viking Village should also work well as a starting point for a Rohan MOC (My Own Creation).

I would have liked to see more elaborate water design and more minifigures would have been nice. However, considering the very good price, this is completely acceptable.
