Opinion
Obi-Wan Kenobi & Darth Vader from LEGO are visually well done and perfectly represent the two characters and what they stand for. Both are fallen in their own way, but still so different.
The black, low-contrast look of Darth Vader is not for everyone. LEGO even decided to represent the optics part of his facemask in Dark Red to have at least have some color in the picture. That is a viable choice, as the eye has already enough difficulty holding on to something with this figure.
On the other hand, Obi Wan is a more typical BrickHead, with the distinctive high forehead, thanks to a Tile 2 x 4. We often see this, most recently I liked it so much with
Gandalf. Here too, the wise and humorous side of Obi-Wan comes across well.
It’s a nice little building fun in between. Certainly, you don’t have to be a fan of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series or this particular duel-scene to like the set.
You could also consider changing Obi-Wan’s red-blond hair for white to represent the duel from Episode IV - A New Hope.
