LEGO - Disney™ Castle | Set 43222

I liked the Castle from LEGO better than expected. Although I’m not a Disney fan, I was impressed by the opulence of the exterior design and the impressive size of the model, combined with the loving interior design on the upper floors.

Above all, the building techniques of the towers gave me a lot of pleasure and are recommended for imitation. The minifigures are well designed and mostly exclusive. The new color scheme, which corresponds to the castle in Orlando, has been implemented well and has given us a variety of new pieces in Pearl Gold | Warm Gold, Sand Blue, and Light Nougat. Fortunately, there are only few stickers and unnecessarily colorful pieces are also rare.

Unfortunately, with the focus on size the ground floor looks a bit bare due to a lack of pieces.

Overall, it is a very good set with more details than its predecessor The Disney™ Castle but not enough to be truly brilliant. The price of four hundred euros is justifiable for a licensed set of this size.
