Opinion
The Mandalorian Starfighter was actually a good set. The ship itself was nicely done in its forms and the landing function of the wings worked perfectly. Unfortunately, it does not stand properly straight, and the cockpit window has a strange gap.
But the highlight are the minifigures anyway. The Siege of Mandalore is one of the most significant episodes of Star Wars - The Clone Wars and a highlight of the seventh season. Gar Saxon and Bo-Katan are absolute fan favorites and as leaders of their clans, the minifigures are unique of course, but still suitable for army building. Bo-Katan will return with the Spider Tank, though, but in her post-imperial self.
In theory, the set is worth it for these two figures alone. Unfortunately, LEGO kept it exclusive and took it out of distribution after only 16 months. Therefore, the price could never reach acceptable levels, which is really a shame.
