Opinion
The design of the Hoth AT-ST is very good and the fact that there are no stickers is a real achievement for a Star Wars play set. I like the cockpit much better than in its predecessor. The fact that the viewports are closed is strange, but it makes sense on Hoth.
The rotating mechanism runs smoothly, and together with the surprisingly sturdy design, we have a well-playable set. Adults can replace the two spring shooters or leave them as they are since they are hardly noticeable when unloaded.
LEGO has once again done something right in terms of pricing. The Hoth AT-ST costs 10 euros less than the AT-ST Raider from The Mandalorian, even though there is only one minifigure difference.
My only criticism concerns the selection of minifigures since Chewbacca without Han Solo doesn’t really make sense. I would have been willing to pay five euros more if Han were also included. Otherwise, the set belongs to the stronger ones in this price range.
