LEGO - Star Wars™ Death Star Trash Compactor Diorama | Set 75339

Although the Death Star™ Trash Compactor is the weakest out of the three Dioramas from 2022, it still holds up well. The LEGO team delivered a sleek design with a fun play feature. The garbage compactor works and it’s fun to fool around with. However, the exterior of the side walls is not well done. A clean covering with Tiles is clearly missing here.

The real highlight of the set, however, are the minifigures, especially the two droids. C-3PO, with the printed arms, is one of the best of its kind, although not quite as strong as the one in Landspeeder. And finally, we are getting a double-sided printed R2-D2! That was more than overdue.

With its six minifigures, the set is also reasonably priced from LEGO’s perspective. However, since it never really hit the market widely, it has mostly remained at its list price. Unfortunately, this makes it a bit unattractive compared to its peers.
