LEGO - Star Wars™ Republic Fighter Tank | Set 75342

The Republic Fighter Tank shines above all with its really good minifigures. Especially the two characters Mace Windu and Clone Trooper Commander are not only excellently designed, but also surprisingly flexible to use, which gives this set an admittedly expensive Battle Pack character. The tank itself looks better than its reputation. Sure, it could have been a bit flatter, but that’s not dramatic. However, I would have wished for more pieces for more stability.

That would have been possible, because the Republic Fighter Tank is simply too expensive, especially compared to the imaginary predecessor 501st Legion Clone Troopers. I think LEGO wanted to see how much they could get out of this type of set (Battle Pack, which is not one).

Although the build and the minifigures seem a bit stronger than in 501st Legion Clone Troopers, the price makes it a weaker set.
