Opinion
For a playset, the Ghost & Phantom II is surprisingly well done. Of course, it doesn’t have minifigure scale, that would be more in the UCS territory, but the shapes and colors are pretty well executed. However, this refers more to the Star Wars Rebels version of the ship. In Ahsoka, she is presented in significantly more muted colors. However, LEGO has designed the ship for the latter, as shown by the minifigure selection. General Hera Syndulla is done really well. Her son has the wrong hair unfortunately, but we have a really good Mon Calamari in the set with Lt. Beyta.
Compared to its predecessor, we have a surprisingly spacious interior and the two ramps increase playability, even though they are not placed in the correct location. The Phantom II is included in the set this time and can be occupied by the pilot and Chopper.
Overall, it is a solid set, if it weren’t for the high list price and the exclusivity at Amazon in Europe. This makes the set unnecessarily unattractive. Even the Yavin 4 Rebel Base, although the inferior set, is still more of a recommendation due to its retail price as is the Millennium Falcon.
