LEGO - Star Wars™ Yavin 4 Rebel Base | Set 75365

The LEGO Yavin 4 Rebel Base is not easy to evaluate. On the one hand, it includes 12 partially fantastic minifigures, which are interesting for collectors and adults. On the other hand, the building is appealing in its size and playability, especially for children. With Star Wars, LEGO usually manages to unite both target groups much better.

In combination with the very high price, this buy is difficult to justify for everyone. It is overall too expensive for a pure children’s toy, and for the collectors of the minifigures as well.

This is very unfortunate, because the set has a lot to offer: The two pilots are at UCS level, Luke and Han with their medals are simply great, and my kids are thrilled with the large base. In addition, there is a topic that LEGO has never covered really well before.

The set is sitting between all chairs. A Master Builder set like the Mos Eisley Cantina would have made adults happier and many parents would have loved a cheaper price. At least it is a better deal than The Justifier from last year.
