Opinion
The
Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack has met my expectations and will definitely make me poorer this year. It is the ultimate Battle Pack as it allows both the Separatists and the Republic to grow equally.
The three regular troopers are neutral enough in color to be used flexibly, and there are no characters like the recent Captain Vaughn. They are basically identical to the Clone Trooper from the
command station in 2022, but they have received the new phase II helmet mold that we have had since the
AT-TE Walker.
The Clone Shock Trooper is identical to the one from the
Coruscant Guard Gunship.
The secret protagonists of the pack are the three Super Battle Droids. We haven’t seen them in larger numbers since
2007. In 2015, it was completely over. They have been slightly redesigned visually and hopefully are more durable than their predecessors.
With the STAP (Single Trooper Aerial Platform), it is even one of the rare Battle Packs that includes a vehicle that should also make a good impression in an adult MOC (My Own Creation).
