Opinion
The Tantive IV from the Starship Collection is not a bad set in itself. The shapes of the original are well implemented, the ship is robustly built and ready for wild flight maneuvers. Combined with the stand, it makes a nice exhibition piece, for which you don’t have to build a new house.
What is really regrettable are the stickers, which also have a different color than the bricks underneath. I therefore left them out, but without them, the ship looks a bit sad.
Unfortunately, the set doesn’t look very good from the bottom either, the Millennium Falcon does that much better. Overall, it is therefore a rather mixed set, which appears significantly less appealing compared to the Millennium Falcon.
Therefore, it is all the more incomprehensible why LEGO made the weaker set 30% more expensive. You can’t always understand the decisions in Billund.
