Opinion
R2-D2 is a set that I quite like. It includes everything we had in the two previous UCS versions, but in a more compact and affordable format. The fact that his blue arms could not be bricked is a consequence of the size, though. There are stickers for their representation, but it’s not the same. The print on his head and the printed plaque give the set a certain value, though.
The fact that the middle leg, the tools, and the antenna can be removed is a fun idea and gives the set variability and variety. The shapes of
R2-D2 are very well done.
The building experience was acceptable, but was again limited by all too small construction steps.
The Darth Malak figure is well made, although I still don’t like the stiff cloak material. However, the prints and his head part are very well done. I am very happy to have a figure from KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic) and hope that more will come.
