LEGO has done a lot right with Gotham City. The building experience is one of the best in recent years, showcasing an incredible variety of building techniques that will warm the heart of any Architecture fan. Visually, the entire set is a real highlight with its fantastic play of colors, impressions, and varied representations.

The building experience is brillant. The large set is assembled in small, manageable modules. Four decent minifigures round off the package.

However, there are also negative points, especially the mass of stickers, which is unworthy of such a beautiful set, especially since almost all Easter eggs were implemented as stickers. It’s great that 15 buildings can be opened, but the interiors are mostly stickers.

At a price of 300 euros RRP (Recommended Retail Price), there should have been more prints, especially since the only significant print, the Bat-Signal, does not seem quite color-matching.

Nevertheless, it has become a fantastic set, thanks to the outstanding performance of the LEGO design team.
