Opinion
Of all the Formula 1 vehicles I built at this size, the
2023 McLaren™ Formula 1 Race Car from LEGO is the best. This is primarily due to the successful shapes, but also to a small but well-chosen selection of prints.
The driver is also one of the highlights of the set. For me, this is primarily due to the printed helmet, which I have never had before. But the rest of the figure is also quite nice. The usual gap that arises between the torso and legs, because LEGO never prints to the edge, is quite manageable here.
Of course, the set is a sticker festival. Those who do not like to stick will not be happy with it. It is printed enough to not make the car look boring. But it is once again the fantastically implemented shapes of the car that impress. Above all, the middle area around the cockpit brings out the curved shapes of the MCL60 skillfully.
