Opinion
That the Medieval City Church has included the word “medieval” in its name, is search engine optimization, I guess, as there is nothing medieval about it. However, if you’re not bothered by that, we actually have a nice church in the package. It’s impressively large, but of course, you have to like the colors and the playfulness of it.
The construction itself was a mixed experience. Mork provides very good instructions, but unfortunately, they’re not available in a digital version. The bags are huge, so you need a lot of table space. Building the windows was boring, repetitive, and a torture for the fingers. The inconsistent clutch power required the use of a rubber hammer several times. However, there are some exciting building techniques in the set, especially the exterior decorations caught my eye.
Pricewise, the set is okay for the quality of the pieces offered. They can’t compete with LEGO, CaDA, Cobi, or GoBricks, but they do work.
