Opinion
The Botanical Garden by Mould King, designed by Berthil, is in its DIMENSIONS like a modular building, but it is a very different animal.
The only thing that bothered me was that the house interior is hardly accessible after assembly. Although a small part of the roof can be removed, the sides are hardly accessible. This makes small repairs or positioning of minifigures difficult.
Assembly is pleasant except for the installation of the large transparent side Panels. These Panels tend to give way, and it is almost impossible to apply counterpressure.
The piece quality is quite good as is typical for Mould King. Two prints in the box are not much, but actually record-breaking for this manufacturer.
But what I liked the most were all the structural details inside that invite for exploration. This is one of these sets that are both fun to build and to look at.
Combined with a good price-performance ratio, we have a well-rounded package in front of us.
