Opinion
The
Cabin In The Woods is another forest cabin set from the year 2023. It is a typical Mould King set with many high-quality GoBricks pieces at an affordable price. I really like the design of the interior. The use of a deer in the chimney and a dog in the floor as design elements for wall decoration and carpet is something I have never seen before.
However, the exterior of the
Cabin In The Woods shows weaknesses. The orange is too bright for my liking and the huge Reddish Brown roof areas not only look boring but were also quite difficult to build. The instructions simply do not provide enough contrast. The roof may be inspired by LEGO’s
A-Frame Cabin, where it works better due to the smaller area and better Tiles.
Additionally, the roof areas bend noticeably, which is why the manufacturer tries to keep them straight with two rubber bands. The trees are lavish, stylish, and yet stable, although they could be better anchored.
Overall, it is once again a solid set that Mould King has simply made too big to be truly brilliant.
