Opinion
With Forest Cabin, Pantasy is now throwing its hat into the ring for weekend homes in the woods. They have implemented this very well. The design is visually appealing, with nice interior features such as a table football game, a ceiling fan, or a detailed kitchen. I also like the flexible connection of the exterior elements, as well as the absence of a Baseplate as a foundation. This makes the set flexible to use. The building is also practically modular.
The pieces from GoBricks are, as always, very good, but there are more micro-scratches than with LEGO. In this set there are unfortunately also some color deviations in the roof. The instructions are flawless, but not available digitally.
Nevertheless, it is a very good overall package that Pantasy has priced appropriately. Compared to Funwhole’s A-Frame Cabin, I like the better modularity, but there is no lighting. Compared to LEGO’s A-Frame Cabin, it is more attractive in price and size, but lacks the minifigures and has fewer prints.
