Opinion
The Retro Gramophone from Pantasy looks really stylish when fully assembled. The golden special parts and prints already make the set stand out. It looks good both from a distance and up close. The nice little features, like the stage inside, bring joy.
The proportions of the gramophone are harmonious and it certainly looks good on the shelf. However, you need to have a certain affinity for retro technology to be enthusiastic about this set. The building process is pleasant and manageable even for inexperienced builders, although Pantasy has hidden many colorful parts inside.
The parts from GoBricks are as neat as always, except for some minor color variations in the brown tones. Micro scratches are already an issue. The instructions leave no questions unanswered, but they are not available digitally.
Overall, it is a nice set, although it is not cheap at $80. You definitely won’t get a run-of-the-mill set for that price, though.
