Opinion
The Retro Projector from Pantasy really appeals to me. The use of Tan | Brick yellow might be a bit unfortunate as it makes modifications a bit difficult. The GoBricks variation of this color doesn’t really match any other manufacturer. For many sets, this is not a problem, but especially here, the desire may arise to cover the stage or remove the Pantasy Set plaque.
The included USB cable powers the lamp and allows us to project an image. This works surprisingly well, especially the brick component with the step-by-step switching of images is impressively precise.
However, there are also some colorful parts inside to tolerate and the manual is not available digitally.
Pantasy sells the set on Amazon US for about 70 USD. That’s not exactly cheap, but the quality of the overall package justifies the price. Some technical extras are included alongside the bricks, and there are also discounts available from time to time.
