Opinion
The Red Bull™ F1 RB19 is my first Formula 1 car in this format and I have mixed feelings. I simply don’t like stickers, but it won’t work without them even in 2024. Except for Cobi, no manufacturer seems to dare to print across multiple parts or print on the sides. This inevitably means using a lot of stickers!
I really like the shapes of the Red Bull™ F1 RB19, although Rastar didn’t quite manage to depict the curves well. Especially on the side at the level of the cockpit, the car looks very square compared to the original. The Halo, implemented as a rigid hose, is also not integrated into the design as fluidly as one would wish.
The Red Bull™ F1 RB19 costs around 25 euros including shipping in the Chinese retail. That is slightly more than comparable cars from LEGO or Mould King in the market. However, the car has more parts than most of its competitors. The printed tires and rims, even in two different sizes, are also worth a certain premium.
