Opinion

Kingdom Come Deliverance, Peshek’s Watermill from Xingbao, designed by Martin, is for those who like BlueBrixx medieval sets but are not confident with the complex building techniques they require. It is also something for fans of Xingbao minifigures and, of course, fans of Kingdom Come Deliverance.

The set is designed to be simpler and comes with a colorful box and paper instructions, making it appealing to those seeking Martin’s design with a LEGO building experience. However, the simplicity has its drawbacks. The set is more rough and less interesting than its siblings, sitting somewhere in the middle between the simple Bear Rock Castle and the exiting Blaustein Castle.

Nevertheless, it has an impressive size, the angled edges are a joy to build, the appearance is coherent, and the mill wheel can be motorized. However, it is not easy to integrate a transmission system that is appropriate for a mill wheel.

Overall, a good-looking set that is nice to build with excellent value for the money.
